Terms and Conditions

  1. Fifty percent (50%) of the development fee is payable in advance. The last fifty percent (50%) to be paid within 7 days of completion.
  2. Prices are in South African Rands.
  3. Any quotation for services issued in writing are valid for 60 days from the date stated on the quotation.
  4. Any services or products required from any third party are subject to prices as set by these third parties.
  5. Basic search engine optimisation work is included as part of the website development, no guarantees are provided for any search engine optimisation work done at this time.
  6. More thorough SEO services are offered as a separate option and do offer results.
  7. We accept no responsibility for any delays caused by the client or representative of the client. If delays are unacceptable, then we have the right bill for work completed.
  8. For custom development, the onus is on the client to provide detailed, complete and non-ambiguous specifications for requirements.
  9. Additions to specifications are chargeable.
  10. Any images sourced from external sources will be charged to the client. However, this will only be done after receiving permission from the client.
  11. Price increases will not be more than the prevailing South African Consumer Price Index.
  12. Should the client use the hosting service offered by Thetaware this can be paid monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually at the clients preference.
  13. Hosting fees and annual domain renewals should be paid on receipt of invoice and a reasonable grace period is allowed for. However, should this not be paid within a period of three months, all services will be suspended. After such suspension the client may request re-connection, which will be done after all outstanding payments have been made plus a re-connection fee of R500.00.
